Others Model Train Track Gauges
Over the years, several other gauges have achieved popularity for a while, then vanished.
OO (1:76) was popular during the late 1930s, but faded. TT (1:120) hit the market in the 1950s and disappeared in the 1950's.
Z (1:220) originated in Germany and has recently arrived in the States. As yet, it hasn't gained much popularity because of it's extremely small size. Though due to the tiniest of dimensions, should you take up residence in a shoe box, there should still be plenty of room to lay out an extensive track configuration.
